Individualist/Libertarian vs Collectivist/Authoritarian Modification to the Political Compass

I propose the following alternative and lay bare my motive for making the alternative as such. I argue that authoritarianism necessarily correlates with collectivism and that libertarianism necessarily correlates with individualism.

As authoritarianism increases, top-down control increases, liberty decreases. Where liberty is increased, differences are given more freedom to propagate. Individuality grows with as liberty raises. Individuality is suppressed as authoritarianism increases. Uniformity is enforced. More people are imprisoned. Their lives are uniform. Prisoners, soldiers and so on are less individuals and more part of a collective.
